Half a mile in 9,000 years!
Adrian Targett's family have taken 9,000 years to move half a mile down the road from their original home. The website gets the story slightly wrong as Cheddar man is actually the Targett family's many-times great uncle, rather than their grandfather as mitochondrial DNA is inherited in the female line.
